According to Guangzhou Customs, a woman flew to Guangzhou from Addis Ababa on November 16. She went through the “Nothing to Declare” Channel while looking nervous, which was quite suspicious.
Local staff asked her for an examination, then found that the cases contained mostly clothes and food. However, the X-ray machine showed that there was something inside the food.
The woman explained that the food which looks like Chinese Zongzi was named Koba, a kind of African food. Staff still did a thorough search on her luggage and found $199,650 cash in it.
