On July 31, a foreign student in Hebei University of Engineering, identified with his Chinese name Taowen, was sentenced to 10-day administrative detention and deported afterward, in according with the law.

The police report said on-site surveillance video from the hallway showed that the foreign student had made indecent contact with this female student while attempting to take a photo with her around 5:30 pm Wednesday.
Then she told her encounter to the local social media on Weibo, named Kuangyuan Daily(矿院日报社). After that, it released a message from this student who claimed that she had been kissed and groped by a Pakistani student.

What’s more, the student said: “he did this with many Chinese” and still hold the point of view that this kind action is not illegal.

“And I think you did’t go other countries.”

After conducting an inquiry about Tao and collecting evidence from the video footage, the police verified the whole story, then said Tao will be detained for 10 days and deported after the detention is served.
At Thursday afternoon, the university released a statement that the foreign student who involved will be expelled.

Not too long ago, on July 12, a girl in Zhuzhou, Hunan province also encountered this kind of behavior.
Afterward, the beer company even asked her not to report her encounter with the police and gave her a pay rise, about 1000 RMB.

From the video surveillance video, we can see that the girl who dressed in red, blocked at a corner. At about 10 pm, a foreign man in white tried to kiss her. Then, she refused and said, “no, no, no…“
However, it’s useless.

After checking video footage, the man involved was sentenced to 15-day administrative detention, local police said.
Additionally, they found that this man also illegally worked. This case is under further investigation by Entry-exit Administration.
